The construction of Local Kitchen + Wine Bar is in full swing. The framing is up and daily decisions regarding electrical, plumbing, design and systems are in the mix. It brings back so many memories of opening and building Thyme! The process of building is pretty amazing to me. Today reclaimed wood from a hundred plus year old bridge in Santa Barbara arrived which will be used to design the patio’s trellis. I love that Local is going to have a little California history! I have now built two buildings and remodeled a home. I have always been fortunate to work with great teams which makes the process very enjoyable. I am excited for the new restaurant and can’t wait until it opens this summer!
